VT Ribera Del Queiles Wine
The denomination of origin of VT Ribera del Queiles forms part of the DO of Navarra and it is probably the most ancient vine-growing region in Spain.
In the VT Ribera del Queiles there are red soils, apart from a slightly dry climate, although it still has rainfalls which do not exceed 700 mm a year.
The Ribera is divided into High and Low. In the first one, there are about 5,000 hectares of vines. In the second one - a region near Aragón- we can find the driest region of the denomination of origin. Besides, there is more rain a year and it covers almost half of the total wine production in Navarra.
